About the Prints
All my photographic compositions are digitally mastered. They are printed using archival giclée printing on watercolor and photographic papers. Watercolor papers are used for images intended to closely approximate the intimate feel of painting that photography often lacks. The one exception is the Japan Dreams Series images which are printed directly onto handmade acid free rice paper.
In order to enhance the longevity of these prints, it is recommended that they be displayed in a setting so as to avoid direct sunlight and extremes of temperature and humidity. The print should remain behind glass. With proper care, expected life can exceed fifty years for color prints and one hundred years for black and white prints without noticeable fading. All images are limited editions. Prints of most images are available in several sizes. All images are mounted on buffered board with buffered white double mats. Mats are rated at 100 years before reaching neutral ph. |
